The hostel is a bit difficult to access by foot if you are coming by public transport. The host brought us out for walks after dinner, with stunning night views of the city. Order breakfast and dinner as their food was delicious. The common space/lounge is perfect to chill, make new friends and read.

The service they provide is up and beyond. I love how this whole place is set up in such a way for people to mingle. I wish I could have stayed longer and chat with the people. Unfortunately I think it was off peak season so there weren't many people. The owner is generous and friendly, people that stays there are good natured people. The owners sang country road to everyone that leaves in the morning, very heart warming and eye teary especially when I met a wonderful old couple from kagoshima during the wonderfully made breakfast. The common area, which is the dining area, has a scenic view of outside, and the main city that lights up a little at night and beautifully decorated interior. It feels like home. I also enjoyed the indoor onsen too. My favourite bit was the classical music playing in the background, and how accessible it is, like a backyard. If you stay here, return the deed by being good guests.

혼자 배낭여행 하다가 들린 장소! 시설도 좋고 석식,조식이 아주 만족스러웠어요. 밤에는 주인분께서 관광을 시켜주십니다. 저는 밤에 반딧불이를 보러 여행객들과 같이 차 타고 나가서 반딧불이 보고왔습니다. 밤에 하늘에 별도 잘 보이는 편이고 진짜 휴식하기에 정말 좋습니다. 벳푸 지옥온천 가실분들에게 특히 추천합니다. 유후인역 앞 버스터미널에서 버스를 타면 벳부 지옥온천까지 저렴하게 갈 수 있어요! 몇몇 지옥온천은 좀 떨어져있어요 뜨거운 날씨에는 버스를 타는걸 추천드립니다. 저는 전부 걸어다녔지만... 버스나 택시를 탈껄 하면서 후회 좀 했습니다.ㅋㅋ 그래도 할만해요!

너무 친절하고 식사가 맛있는 숙소였습니다. 룸은 오직 잠만 잘 수 있고 모든 것은 공용시설을 이용해야하지만 잘 설명되어있어 이것조차 색다른 경험이었습니다. 목욕탕 컨디션이 아쉽지만 식사와 친절도가 300%만족하기 때문에 다음에도 유후인을 간다면 반드시 들릴 예정입니다^^

房間乾淨整潔，看出去的風景好，就是交通不太方便。不過老闆孃的早餐和晚餐做的味道好。就是量有點少，對男的估計不夠吃，衹能飯管飽了。

２回目です。溫泉がよかったです。食事もごはんおかわり自由でおいしかったです。ユースホステルらしく、夜の活動もあり、出発時の歌を歌っての見送りもよかったです。また來ます。

Here's a slightly polished version of your review: If you're looking for a budget-friendly hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. The owner couple is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home right away. I was greeted by a new roommate and the owner even took us on a night tour to Kinrin Lake and Floral Village, which was such a lovely surprise. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the couple’s romantic gesture of singing a beautiful thank-you song before you leave just adds a special touch. Their voices are stunning, and it truly makes you want to return
