1901年に建てられたコロニアルホテルです。ステイケーションで1泊滯在しました。古き良き時代を感じさせ、サービスも行き屆いています。部屋には電気ポットがないですが、ルームサービスでコーヒーやティーを頼むことができます。休暇に靜かな時間を過ごすには最適なホテルです。

亞洲三大非遺酒店之一。除去仰光本身的情況單看The Strand是非常值得一住的。酒店本身有非常濃厚的歷史感，進入房間就是一股隱隱的木質香。房間不配備熱水壺/咖啡/茶包，但隨時可以請前台提供熱水/咖啡/茶，早餐提供也是點餐式服務。硬件細節配得上遺產酒店的身份。洗澡熱水有時供應不上，但總體瑕不掩瑜。

The Strand Yangon ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ ★★★ 殘念ながら年月が経ち、1980年代になるころにはホテルはすっかり老朽化してしまった。しかし、その価値を見逃さなかったのが、アマンリゾーツ創業者であるエイドリアン・ゼッカだ。歴史あるこの建築を保護しようと投資を行い、改修工事に著手。1993年に見事再生させた。つまり、2組のホテル界のレジェンドの情熱が注がれたホテルなのだスタンダードと思いきや55㎡もある！実はホテルの全32室はすべてがスイート The Strand Yangon ホテルが建てられた當時のラングーン（現ヤンゴン）といえば、外國人旅行者が來るような街ではなく、一流ホテルは必要ないように思われていた。しかしサーキーズ兄弟はすぐにそのニーズが來ると信じ、ラングーンでのホテル経営に挑戦した。読みが早すぎたのか、1892年に開業したホテルは成功しなかったが、1901年開業の「ザストランドヤンゴン」は最先端のホテルとして軌道に乗りはじめたペルシャ　イスファハン出身のアルメニア人サーキーズ四兄弟は、シンガポールのラッフルズホテル、マレーシアペナン島のＥ＆Ｏホテル、ミャンマー(ビルマ)ヤンゴンのザ・ストランドホテルの３つのホテルを設立しました。

Tried out the sarkies bar, it’s usually not busy. They have a fair selection of drinks. The air conditioning is working very well. That is the case throughout the entire property.

今回、バスタブの汚れや水漏れ等が有りましたが、その後のリカバリーが素晴らしいです、特にレセプションのMs.Ellaの対処、対応が素晴らしく、とても、癒されました、食事も美味しく、コーヒー、紅茶、等も持って來て頂けで最高です、流石のファイブスターホテルです、必ず再訪致します。

服務是他們的亮點，態度積極友善，有求必應，總是笑容滿面地面對客人. 房間大，傢俱舊，浴室有台階，不小心會拌倒，浴室佈局不合理，不太令人喜歡. 室外游泳池不錯，大熱天游完景點後可以來這裡放鬆. 位置不是最好，雖然靠江，但江邊臟亂差，沒有旅遊價值. 最好的地段在Sule塔周圍. 他們的餐廳不錯，當地菜做得正中.

Came back for a third stay. This is the 3rd room type that i am staying in. All 3 types are big like really big and spacious but this was by far the largest of the types. We were assigned room 103 which was a main road facing room there’s another room 101 which faces the side road. Overall the room was comfy as the layout was great. There was also a value add on just for hotel guests for less than 10 USD a person to get breakfast.

I came to test out this hotel for a future vacation. It is the most expensive luxurious hotel in the country. I can swear by that. Youre greeted by a welcome drink the minute you enter. I really enjoyed my stay here as there is a personal butler on call 24/7 and she brings bright smiles and complimentary tea and coffees. I was served by khoon and thae thae whom were both very professional and attentive. It was my first experience with a butler. Definitely a memorable one. The suites are massive and though you can’t expect pristine cleanliness due to the buildings age, i did not notice any dirt anywhere except for the outside of the windows.
