胡德青年旅館 (HOOD HOSTEL)

青旅在老城區，離中央火車站不遠，一樓大廳，住宿在二樓和三樓，床單一客一換，房間有桌子，衹是窗戶缺乏維護，關不上。前台有一位會點中文的男孩很好。工作人員衹會當地語，交流不暢，退房時前台還要我付最後一天房費，我已付，他説沒收到，幸虧會點中文的男孩出來證實我已付清房款。

I had a mixed experience staying at HOOD Hostel. The staff members were kind and polite, but the overall management and maintenance of the hostel were disappointing. For a hostel charging more than $12 per night, I expected better facilities and safety standards. ★The Wi-Fi was completely unavailable when I arrived. It started working after about two days, but the connection remained very slow. ★None of the bathroom door locks worked properly. I reported the issue, but it was never fixed during my stay. ★While taking a shower, I got an electric shock from the water heater/shower system. This was very dangerous and could have led to a serious accident. ★The room key card did not work, so they gave me a normal key instead. Later, they took the key back and asked me to leave the room unlocked all the time, which felt very unsafe and unprofessional. The staff tried to be helpful, and I appreciate their attitude, but the hostel management seriously needs improvement.

The staff at HOOD Hostel were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the hostel itself had several serious issues. For a hostel that costs over $12 per night, I expected much better. 1. When I arrived, the Wi-Fi was not working at all. Even after 2 days, when it finally started working, the speed was still very poor. 2. None of the bathroom locks worked properly. I informed them about it, but nothing was fixed during my stay. 3.I received an electric shock while taking a shower because of the water heater/shower system. This could have caused a serious accident and was very concerning. 4.The room key card they gave me did not work. Later they gave me a physical key, but after one day they took that away too and told me to keep the room unlocked all the time, which was really disappointing and felt insecure. In the end, I would say the staff were nice, but the hostel management and maintenance were not good at all.
