The hotel is a very nice small traditional Chinese style property. During day time you can enjoy the view of ancient city and gate. Decoration is nice and simple. Bed are very comfortable. Unfortunately during night it is impossible to sleep because the hotel is located in the top of a party area. Even legally music should stop at 2:00 am, on our stay music was on going until 7:00am. The hotel officially has a 24hour reception service, nobody was there to help and also did not respond to our messages regarding the noise. The first night they offered us a second room away from the noise for extra payment. In general not happy with the experience.

親子出行，特地選了離城門比較近的，晚上隔壁的天台酒吧確實讓人驚喜啊。可能有點吵，對環境需求較高的人不太友好。衞生間和客廳一起，有點不太方便，不過寸土寸金的地方可以做的這樣已經很不錯了。

Everything was simply perfect. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of the city center with a stunning view of the ancient walls. The building beautifully combines traditional charm with modern comforts, making it both welcoming and fully equipped to meet any need. The service was outstanding: we were assisted with exceptional kindness and availability every step of the way. A truly rare and valuable bonus is that the host speaks English, which made everything even easier. Highly recommended!

Good location (very near chagee,書院街）, inside the shophouses but had 2 flight of stairs before reaching! (The in charge is very friendly and assisted us to manage our luggage down when we were rushing off, and he also helped us to heat up Food!). We gotten a quiet room (fortunately can’t hear any of the bar sound) though room slightly smaller than expected. Unique housing layout, Cleaning of rubbish and bed lining can be more thorough. Recommended!

Loved this place. Location is perfect, close to the arts streets and the City wall. It has a great atmosphere, staff is friendly and helpfull and the rooftop terrasse is an amazing place for bit of relax time. When booking, the staff was very honest about the noise late at night from bars near by. I was there for three night, and it was only one night I could hear it and it didn't prevent me for a good night sleep.

Location is excellent - a 四合院 with elegant design and decoration. In the heart of artistic streets with Calligraphy galleries and artisans It locates next to the City Walls, Drum tower, muslim quarter etc... We book a room in 2nd floor and its amazingly beautiful. The guy at hotel is very handsome and super supportive. He help us to book the tour to the Terracotta Warriors at last minutes (with very reasonable price) and even bring us to the bus after. Thank you!! Our 訂房網站 in Xi'an was great because of staying here. Hope to back Xian one day❣️

Having previously stayed at Simple Palace, we had no qualms about booking this lovely wee courtyard hotel again. The last time we stayed, we noticed that, for one night, there was the bass of dance music until about 1am. Not a major problem. However, very unfortunately, this time the bass music played all night until 6.30 in the morning, every single night. Little sleep was had, despite having earplugs. It's such a shame, as Linda and her staff are so lovely, the hotel is full of character and the location perfect. We feel bad giving this feedback, as it's totally outwith the control of the hotel, but it sadly would stop us staying again.

inside Xian Beilin, A lots or shops and eateries. within walking distance to Xian City Wall entrance Wenchangmen ( South gate entrance), muslim quarter and traditional shops which will transform you back to ancient time. Simple Palace is unique, more like boutique style from Asian countries but the design really bring me back to ancient time & match back Xian city vibes as one of the older ancient city in China & world. As for facilities, not much since is 3 star hotel and boutique style. Do not, will need walk abt 5 mins to hotel (2 storey shop/house design). Didi will drop at main road and need walk to hotel located inside alley small road
