I had to see three rooms before we found one with working electrical outlets. I was fine with all of this -- I needed a cheap, basic place that was centrally located, and, of course, you get what you pay for.
What I wasn't fine with was when, while I was working in the room and my friend was away running errands, I was notified that we had one hour to evacuate the room due to an "emergency fumigation operation." I don't even want to know what that was all about. We frantically packed up our stuff and were shown a new room -- on the floor with the families -- and said room was almost as disgusting as the first two we were shown. Even if you're on a budget, I would say just don't bother with this place.
