It is a good hotel, good size swimming pool & have both steam room and sauna, however, been twice now on weekdays and both times very busy. Mainly self check-ins which loses the personal touch I feel and not too happy charged extra for parking giving the location of the hotel. Great service in the restaurant.

Really good stay. Clean room with extras like iron and fan already inside which is a real bonus. Sky Sports on TV was great, good shower and good buffet breakfast. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff. Location great as not in the city centre but near and accessible easily. Great for attending a gig or event.

We enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel during the NYE. The room was big and spacious. Good location near the grocery.

I was booked in for work and had booked an additional night privately. I had such a terrible nights sleep that I did not stay for the additional night. I requested a refund but never heard back. There was no air conditioning in the room and the windows only opened a few inches. It was unbearable. From 5am there was continuous noise from below. Vans delivering, bins being emptied. I gave up trying to sleep and went down to the gym at 6am. I was like a zombie for the conference through lack of sleep.

We stayed in a Club Room on the second floor of the hotel on a Friday evening. The room was large and clean, with a coffee machine, pods, tea and coffee to use. The room also came with an iron, ironing board and a hairdryer. The TV had Sky Sports, which was great for a Friday evening. However, the room was not as “plush” as we thought that it would be - it was quite basic for an upgraded “Club” room. The gym and pool are that of a 5* hotel, which we had free access to. The car park is free for guests from 5pm on a Friday evening until 3pm on a Sunday, with plenty of spaces available. The hotel is situated just off a busy main road, but you do not hear the traffic at all and is around a 15 minute drive to the centre of the city.
