No hot-water and electricity during our stay. We weren’t the only ones, we saw other people complained too. Called the contact line for them to respond saying it’s not an emergency. Utterly useless customer service team!

I recently had to cancel my reservation at The Fairhaven Hotel due to an unexpected illness, and unfortunately, my experience with their customer service has left much to be desired. Despite reaching out promptly to explain my situation and request a refund, I was met with a firm refusal. The hotel’s cancellation policy was not flexible enough to accommodate my circumstances, which was quite disappointing. I understand that policies are in place for a reason, but a little compassion in times of need would have gone a long way. The hotel itself may have great amenities and a lovely atmosphere, but my experience with their handling of cancellations has overshadowed any positive aspects. I would advise potential guests to carefully consider the cancellation policy before booking, especially if there’s a chance that plans may change unexpectedly. Overall, while I cannot speak to the quality of the stay, my interaction with the hotel regarding my cancellation has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope they can improve their customer service approach in the future.

Hotel was a really good Location, Welcomed by friendly and helpful staff at the desk. The lift was not working which didn’t affect us as we are able bodied. However there were other people who could have done with the lift working, We didn’t have the continental breakfast but it did look good. We just prefer cooked breakfasts. Bedroom was a nice space and bathroom/ shower was clean.

A spacious,clean room with a lovely sea view. Very conveniently located in the town centre. Good, friendly service. Food was fine. Very competitively priced. Absolutely loved my stay.

We stayed here for 1 night me and my partner and 2 year old the staff were very friendly took us to our room and set up the single bed for us. The location is great right near the see front and we had a lovely view of the sea from our hotel room window. They offered a lovely continental breakfast with cereal, toasts and pastries which is perfect for a light breakfast and the coffee was lovely we enjoyed are stay will definitely be returning g again in the future

Location and service was good but the room was a big let down, was clean but definitely not worth what they charge, the divan beds are super old and mattress very uncomfortable, I have stayed in better places for less money.

Recent renovation work looks excellent. Staff superb. Professional, friendly, helpful. Wonderful location. Breakfast was superb but very pricey. Would definitely stay here again.
