Zamzam is a great choice for those who want a comfortable and economical choice in a small village setting. Tello, who manages it, is super friendly and helpful. Zamzam is only a short walk or motorcycle drive to the beach. I've stayed here several times before and will surely be back!

Selong Belanak beach is a bit further than I expected taking about 10 minutes to walk there from the hotel, but I rented a scooter easily enough to get around to some of the big surf breaks. I really enjoyed surfing at Serana and Mawi, which are both short and beautiful drives from the hotel. Tello the hotel manager is a super friendly, funny, and helpful man! His wife cooks delicious food as well! I liked it so much at ZamZam that I extended my original two nights and ended up staying eight nights in total!
