休眠汽車旅館 (Turn-in Motel)

I book for 2 Queen beds & 1 single which was clearly stated in my reservation and paid RM 403.66. But upon my check in, they gave me 2 single beds. When i ask for at least 1 queen and one single, they charged me additional RM150.74 and insisted that their record shows i have booked 2 single beds only. Since we were checking in very late close to 10pm after a long drive, I just did not want to argue and paid for the extra. This was really disappointing experience to date. As I checked my booking again, now that I have my internet line, I can confirmed that my reservation was for 2 queen bed and 1 Single.

We paid $258.86 to stay one night at this motel and it was not a last minute booking. The whole experience was unpleasant and bizarre, from the check in through a TV screen at reception (was this AI?) to the prison like key pads instead of key cards. Check in was at the unusual time of 4.30pm but that would be at the convenient time of 1.30 pm in Shanghai or Guangzhou as this travel company operates out of China. Photos tell a thousand words so I’ll let them speak - electric wires hanging, unstable floor, saggy mattress, dirty shower base. This is not the standard we are used to in Australia, something very quickly needs to be done about this motel. Meanwhile I will pursue 訂房網站 for a refund of the difference between what I paid and their advertised rate -$119.
