Nice cozy place. Would certainly recommend for those visiting wangaratta.

This would have to be the worst motel we have ever stayed in. The condition and cleanliness of the place was unacceptable. The whole place is obviously old, run down and hasn’t had any maintenance for quite a number of years. Before you walk in the door on the wall exposed to the elements is the 240 volt switch board. Not in a lockable cabinet out of the weather, how safe is that. Anyone has access to it including kids! The bathroom needs a renovation, the shower is that close to unusable. The taps took a lot of effort to turn on, and to turn off to a point where the shower stopped running. My partner was unable to operate these taps so I had to do it for her. The water was also spraying over you from the swivel joints on the shower rose.  The exhaust fan wouldn’t work, suspect burnt out.  The shower door took a lot of effort to close or open.  The towels were discloured and thin to the point of worn through as well as the frayed edges. Well past their use by date.  The carpet was stained and looked filthy.  The bed spread had large stains on it.  If I was the owner I would be to embarrassed to offer this room to the public, especially someone paying for that privilege.  The entrance to the motel is badly potholed, again evidently lack of maintenance.  The website displays photos of the room which does not represent the current condition. These photos are many years old.  How anyone would give this place a good review is beyond me.  There is no way we would ever stay in this motel again.  David Macdonald.

From the outside, this motel looks especially dingy and neglected, but the rooms aren't bad. It's perfectly clean and has all the features you'd expect of an ordinary motel in any Australian town. Perfectly adequate, and appropriately priced.
