維賈亞普拉基里亞德酒店-OTHPL (Kyriad Hotel Vijayapura)

Location is excellent. But they seem to be on a money saving spree. AC in Reception area always off ...No fans either. Said AC was under maintenance..( For 4 days ??). Finally, they turned it on after complaint. Room Towels were laundered but looked old and worn out . Bathroom was cleaned but no sanitizer liquid used ...like Lysol or phenyl..so bathroom smelt . After complaint, they used some Spray of cheap chemical . There was No fridge in the rooms for cold water. We had to exchange our Room bottled water for cold water every day. Limited supply of ICE. Staff was limited , so Room Service was very slow. I found Food gravy was Spicy with same Masala used in all curry dishes and Sambhar too. Had to request them to ease up on spice. Only bright spot was that Staff was polite and helpful. Special mention for Avijit at Front office, Janita in Housekeeping . An another young girl Manisha in the Restaurant who was present at 7 AM, During Lunch hours and till 11 PM.

The hotel is very clean, with a humble staff. I liked the vicinity. Woykd definitely plan to book during my next stay.

Average 2 star rooms. The breakfast was basic. Sheets and towels had marks on them and i asked them to change them which they did.

Food was good. There was no room service. E ven to get a bottle of water, we had to go to the restaurant. No hot water in the bathroom on day 1. Shower curtain in the bathroom had lot of fungus and apparently never cleaned. Breakfast was very good. People in the restaurant were nice. Lack of room service was very disappointing.

It is not a great hotel but an average one. Compared to other hotels in vijayapura, which is available in the same street, this hotel is better one. We have booked for twin bed room. The room and bed condition indicates that it is an old hotel. Wash room was maintained neatly. We just wanted a night stay only so this was ok. But if you are staying for more days, go for better one. Breakfast was buffet and it is fine.

There is no proper parking for guests, no towel provided even after requesting, intercom was not working as well and finally there was no room service for food or beverage.

Stayed 2 nights at kyriad room was clean, no towels were placed in the room on check-in. Buffet breakfast food was good, but service very slow. Food at the restaurant was good.

We had three rooms and there were 7 of us. The restaurants are very good. Breakfast is excellent. Staff are very helpful and courteous. They go extra mile to cater to any requirement. Improvement areas the management needs to focus. One room had unclean bedsheets. Tea sachets were out of stock. Manager at reception said hand towels and tea sachets are not issued which was not true at all and the housekeeping person helped with that later.

The hotel is ok in general. One issue is heavy traffic noise since it is on the main road. Secondly bathroom flooring is somewhat slippery. Staff is attentive.
