many different difficulties...delayed service..lack of coordination...smell from food...smell from glasses....many things didn't go good

We had a surprising experience at this hotel. Upon checking in to the room, we observed that our lake view room had a view nothing like that shown. When we checked with multiple staff members they said that the pictures maybe of the rooms in the front or in another wing. Our request to consider a room with similar view was denied stating non availability. Even though we were willing to compromise and shift the next day, the requested rooms weren't given. Food options are limited in the buffet, and some areas near the pool were shockingly non-maintained. Overall, a pretty upsetting stay and i wouldn't recommend the hotel given the other fantastic alternative hotel options in udaipur.

Visited The Leela Lake Palace for a 3 night stay. This was my second time at Leela Udaipur. The last was 7 years back. From the time we took the short boat ride to the hotel we were treated to a truly special level of service. In the last 7 years I think the quality of room, amenities, service has gone up a few notches! Highly recommend this property.

I booked Leela Palace Udaipur in April 2025 for family stay. We were given a grand warm welcome with drinks and music. The boat entry was the icing on the cake. The hotel staff arranged a special lake view room for us. The bottle of champagne was the highlight ***** with private butler. All in all a night of remembrance . Highly recommended and looking forward for another stay soon.

Amazing experience. I would like to thank Neha Mukherjee especially for all the arrangements, right from the grand welcome, cake, decoration for my son's birthday. She made sure of every aspect to make our living auspicious and comfortable.It was a wonderful ,fantastic experience.

A nice property. Excellent staff. Only negative point is that Pool depth is 5.3-5.7 which makes it inaccessible for most. Also No activities for kids. No Steam/Sauna either which should be there at this price bracket.
