A hostel with very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was ok, in line with the description and photos. They have large available kitchen for guests, and also room for chilling out. 20 minutes drive from parking where you can get bus at the start of Tongariro Alpine crossing hike.

The room was small and warmed up quickly, bed very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and showers hot. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a great stay at this hostel, and I want to sincerely thank the host for staying with me until midnight during check-in, as I was delayed by heavy traffic. Despite the late hour, they were incredibly welcoming and made sure I was settled. Highly recommended!
