It’s nice and quiet, and pretty comfy, but there’s still a bunch of hair on the floor, and it doesn’t look super clean. The staff seemed a bit confused with the info, but it’s all good. Just don’t expect five-star service, that’s all.

Brand new and right next to The Ville with plenty of bars and restaurants, however staff not helpful when aircon in room not working, especially with the North QLD heat

We enjoyed our stay at Ardo, highly recommend. The rooftop pool was great, the rooms modern and cleanliness was good. Front desk reception was good, and the cleaning staff nice in the hallways. The location is great for the view and close to the Sealink Ferry to Magnetic Island, though a little far away from town and The Strand to walk in heat or at night. Would be great if they had a free shuttle available. We found the reception service on the rooftop not great. We were told we could only sit at the bar (1 chair between 2 people) and there was about 8 tables free, and about another 8 on the balcony area. We asked again, and was told 'everyone is coming to those tables in the next 15 minutes'. Lets just say, after 45 minutes only 1 table was filled. Guests should be treated with better service. Same with Terasu reception, we were told we could only sit at the table next to the reception/paying counter. After 2 hours, there was still plenty of tables free inside and outside free. And the free water in the can tastes rank!

Room wasnt bad but probably a little pricier then what was offered. probably would not stay here again. location was kinda far from things. but its next to the ******.
