愛琴商務酒店 (Business Hotel Aege)

Last minute decision to attend part of Awa Odori left no choices for any room within walking distance but the Aege. It's very apprehensive approach to checking in. The front desk and common areas are not really worth mentioning. However the room (訂房網站le share) on floor 4 was surprisingly very neat, clean, albeit few minor wall papers came off. It has multiple windows (something guests often pay a lot more for rooms across Japan & many Asian countries), the largest window that one can walk out onto an underused balcony to a lovely riverview. It's approximately 1.3kms walk to the Sansan Aihabama platforms for reserved Awa Odori as well as many free events throughout this festival. I felt safe as a solo female walking back late at night. It has good potential if maintenance or an upgrade to tidy up and allow the proper riverviews for those rooms. There are rooms with tatamis.
