THE STONEWOOD HOTEL RISHIKESH , IS SITUATED IN TAPOVAN HILLS , WHICH IS MORE THAN 1 KILOMETER FROM THE MAIN ROAD . THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT . WHEN EVER YOU WANT TO GO OUT SOMEWHERE , YOU HAVE TO WALK DOWN TO THE MAIN ROAD . AND ALSO COME BACK TO THE TAPOVAN HILLS BY WALKING ONLY . IT IS IMPOSSIBLE AS A TOURIST TRACKING AND STAYING IN THE HILLY AREAS ON DAILY BASIS . THE HOTEL FOOD WAS THE ONLY OPTION FOR LUNCH AND DINNER , WHICH IS HIGHLY EXPENSIVE AND QUANTITY IS VERY LESS . IF YOU INSTRUCT HOTEL DOES NOT FOLLOW THE COOKING METHOD EVEN . THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM IS NOT CLEAR AT THE PREMISES . 24 HOURS IT SMELLS AS THE TOILET AND MAKES THE CUSTOMERS UNABLE TO BREATH EVEN . THE ELECTRICITY FLACTUATES SO MUCH , AND THE GENERATOR ALSO SMELLS POISIONOUS AND HAZARDIOUS . WE BOOKED AND GOT STUCK INSIDE THE HOTEL . A TOTAL LOSS OF 4 NIGHTS PAYMENTS . THE HOTEL CAR SUPPORT AGENCY IS VERY EXPENSIVE PER DAY . UNABLE TO GO ANYWHERE AND CONSULT ANY OTHER TRAVEL AGENCY , AS THERE WERE NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION . MAKE MY TRIP SHOYLD STOP ADVERTISING THIS SORT OF HOTELS .

The room is full of silan ( dampness), washroom light doesn’t work, seat flush doesn’t have cover, exhaust section is empty and they didn’t provide us the room keys

Stay was excellent, staff and service is alsi very good. Property and room is clean. Food is awesome.

Excellent property. The hotel is located over a small hilltop with a cozy and rich feel. The rooms are clean and staff is very courteous. Recommend for family and couples and even solo travellers

The approach to the hotel was not so easy it’s bit far from the main road. When asked from the locals about the property they don’t even know its name. A steep ascend narrow road got diverted from the main tapovan road. The property looks nice and the staff was very courteous. The rooms and the bathrooms were decent. Now coming to the food here, food was okayish not many options available in both the dinner and breakfast buffet. Felt it was of half price that we had payed. The cab booked from the hotel for just 3 kms upto ram jhoola parking was way costly.

Amazing hotel with a splendid room view. It's located in a serene place and you can hear the sound of waterflow throughout the day and night.

Property was not good to stay. Staff very uncomfortable, room are not good, price is too high, location is also bad Stone wood was not good stay hotel was bad and room was dirty and staff also not coorporating

location of hotel is very tedious and it takes a lot of effort to reach, plus no signboards on the road. the staff is courteous and helpful. food is tasty

neither extra towels were given despite requesting for it twice nor was ice available for 2 days despite request and assurance.. The 800 meter stretch to the hotel is quite steep and poor road condiiton

Bad experience with respect to booking and coordination. Hotel mentioned that booking is not there and j was given another hotel. I need a refund
