這是一次無可比擬的住宿體驗，從預訂的一刻開始就得到宿坊無微不至的照顧。入住前詳細的解說入住手續及一應設備不在話下，期間一直有發訊息提醒，解說寺院舉行的儀式、各種體驗活動，令人感到十分放心，對陌生地方的疑慮一掃而空。 由於入住前宿坊有特意詢問了到達時間，所以一到埗便有職員在大門恭候，職員還特意帶我走了宿坊一圈，介紹所有設備和使用之規則。十分貼心。 宿坊沒有寺院的嚴肅和古舊，反而是讓人感到平靜的簡約風格。由於只有數間房間，所以私隱度很高，基本上你很難會遇到其他住客。房間的空間很足夠，唯一比較麻煩的是房間沒有衛生間，半夜矇矓爬出房找厠所實在是一種折磨。 宿坊還有各式各樣活動和體驗讓住客參加，有宗教性的早課，抄經等亦有相對中性的靜觀打坐或瑜伽。導修的僧侶通流利英語，溝通也不成問題。 真心感恩自己有機會住在宿坊，能全面放鬆身心去渡假之餘，還有機會體驗與自己的內心傾訴，真正認識自己，真的好像重生的感覺，這是你在其他不管是多高星級的酒店都無法找到的住宿體驗。有機會必定不能錯過了。

寺廟裡的民宿，房間超級大，客臥分開，獨立廊梯相連，訂了獨立衞浴的房間，非常舒適。就是大雪季，日本沒有地暖，赤腳在公共區域榻榻米上走比較冷。第二天一早感受誦經儀式，跟著師傅念日語版心經，聽師傅用一口流利的英語説什麼是色即是空，體驗滿滿。交通也方便，火車站步行6-7分鐘就到。寺內不提供餐食，有自助廚房，我們去超市買飛騨牛肉自己回來煎，超值。

C'est une expérience à couper le souffle. Tout est fait pour nous déconner. Je suis ravie de l’expérience et je la recommande. La prière du matin avec le moine est vraiment à faire.

非常特別的一個酒店.房間面積很大.由於建在寺廟內, 裡面有一個很大很有特色的講經堂. 酒店提供的活動有聽講經（英文）,瑜伽, 和服，茶道,香道課的各種體驗.如果家庭裡有青少年體驗這些課程很有意思. 冬天略冷, 好在煤油的取暖器取暖效果很好.這個是住過的最有特色的酒店. 推薦!

Cold at night as it is a "medieval" building, bit you will love the cozyness of the heating futon. If you are into it , morning prayer and meditation session is nice.

Staying at Zenkoji Temple Hotel is an interesting and unique experience. The hotel offers lots of activities at an additional (really reasonable) cost, like guided meditation and rice ball making. Guests have 24hr access to the temple. The shared spaces and facilities are modern, comfortable and clean. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is also a really short and easy walk from the old town.   We stayed in the Moon Room which was spacious and lovely but would get very cold without keeping the heater on. But we were provided with heated futons so managed to stay comfortable. There is also quite a bit of noise from the road. The other thing to note about the Moon Room is that the only access to the room is through the temple. Expect to be woken at 7am every morning by the prayer service (if you aren’t participating).  Overall we had a lovely stay.
