Fab. No isssues! All the staff were brilliant and helpful! Nice and clean. Free parking. Pub across the road.

I booked this hotel for two nights so my child could enjoy the swimming pool, but unfortunately, it was closed for upgrades. This was not mentioned when booking, and we only found out at check-in, which left my child very disappointed. The real highlight of this hotel is the staff. From reception to the restaurant team and cleaners, everyone was professional, hardworking, and genuinely kind. Their service was some of the best I’ve experienced in the UK, and they really do their best to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The downside is the building itself, which is very dated. The rooms are squeaky, the doors and hallways are worn, and there’s no elevator. I saw several guests struggling with heavy luggage on the stairs, so if you have large bags, I’d strongly recommend requesting a ground floor room. That said, the building itself is outdated and badly in need of renovations. Doors have chipped paint, the hallway lighting is old, the sauna and changing rooms are poorly designed, and the gym has very limited space and equipment. Compared to other hotels in Swindon, this one feels extremely dated. Overall, my experience was good thanks to the wonderful staff and their service. I would consider staying here again, but for better value, there are other hotels nearby with larger rooms, elevators, modern facilities, and a better breakfast and restaurant experience. I truly hope Holiday Inn Swindon invests in a full upgrade of the building and facilities—partial, low-quality renovations (like the bathrooms) won’t be enough.

An excellent base we use while visiting family in the area, the hotel is set in a quiet area with ample parking and very good amenities including the pool. The staff are all super friendly and keen to help with any issues Our only issue, that did not impact our stay too much, was the booking and payment system had not correctly accepted my prepayment for 2 rooms, I had paid using 訂房網站 via PayPal payments over 3 payments, the hotel claimed we had only paid for 1 room, I had to prove by statements and invoices that I had paid for both. This did not warrant a negative review in my opinion, but should be looked at by the hotel chain admin.

Highly recommended stay🤞🤞. Wonderful location and services, accessible from all the locations like city centre and many other tourist locations like Castle Combe.

很不錯的酒店。這次出差陰差陽錯入住了本酒店。設施、衞生、環境、服務都非常滿意。就是國外服務員腦子真的笨。下次還會選擇該酒店入住。

A good place to stay except water pressure of shower still leaves much to be desired. Will like to come back and see if it gets improved in the future!

Excellent. Location to m4 is great for working on the road or for leisure purposes. Very clean and exceptionally efficient with turn around. Check in quick. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast options for room service are one of the best I've had, better than some 4/5 stars! IHG are setting the standard for value, service and overall performance very high and my go to hotel group at the moment. IHG being Holiday Inn, Hilton and Roko to name a few.
