If you stay once, you won't go back...tho zoo is nearby and you have to start somewhere.

Suitable for Indonesians near the zoo. Operates with minimum effort and no drama. Tsunami of traffic noise daily. And probably overpriced. Some better hotels nearby, 50% higher price but on a totally different level. Air con works well and your room is never disturbed. There are restaurants with local food nearby walking at low prices. It would be uncommon for staff to understand English. I tremendously enjoyed the zoo visit. It is what it is. Basic, ok location but pavements disintegrate while traffic streams so be careful. WiFi works good, probably better than the staff does. Perhaps its the higher end of the cheaper hotels. And lots of nice friendly locals around.
