新華酒店 (Hotel Ching Hua)

Stayed at hotel Ching hua for 1 night, the location is good near to the main road. But bad experience for me there, the TV cannot access any channel, the Aircon cannot adjust the temperature.

I was travelling with my wife to visit my relative in Segamat. It was an ad-hoc 訂房網站, not many options for online booking and many other hotels were fully book due to Qing Ming festival. As I only need one night stay, I have choosen Ching Hua based on the review and 3 stars rating. The staffs are freindly. I have given below average rating mainly due to the facilities such as air-conditional, toilet, mattress...are rundown. The air-condition is broken, toilet flush & ventilation fan was so noisy. The worse is the smell of cigarrete in my room when someone smoking at the corridor!

The bathroom is a bit rundown. The toilet ventilation system is very noisy. Toilet flush handle is flimsy, end up having to open up the top cover to flush. The sink has a layer of dirt. The mattress is too soft, no support. The flask provided is leaking. Friendly front desk staff.
