There was a problem with 訂房網站 and although the accommodation was fully paid, Hjelle Hotel did not receive any confirmation. However the hotel owner did a super job to rearrange for alternative accommodation. And went the extra mile to invite us to their buffet dinner. So full marks to Hjelle Hotel. 訂房網站 however did a terrible job to just sent me a note of the problem on the day of our planned arrival. All they offered was a notice and a refund. Think about it 訂房網站 - what do you expect your client to do while on the road and during peak summer season? How do I book an alternative accommodation last minute and failing which what happens?

不得不説這家酒店位置太好了，住在美麗的景區裡，緊靠湖邊，水光山色非常好。 汽車酒店第一次住，雖然小一點，但設施齊全，乾淨衞生，服務也很好，可免費停車。 被這裡的景色迷住了，很滿意的選擇。

One of the best places to stay in Norway. Absolutely stunning scenery. Absolutely quiet. Strategic location just minutes away from Gamle Strynefjellsvegen. Very hospitable staff. Small but nice breakfast in a historic building, and opportunity to pack it also for lunch. Warm and cosy rooms with nice shower and comfortable bed. So, everything is just exactly as it should be. Definitely recommend.
