The room was spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I requested extra towels at the front desk and they were super quick with delivering them to my room. It was great having Denny’s and Moxies in the hotel. Very convenient and the staff at both restaurants were amazing. The only downside to this hotel was the pool/hot tub area. It’s extremely tiny, there’s no where to sit or place your things as it’s literally a room with a small pool and hot tub side by side and maybe 3ft of walkway around them. It’s kind of alarming when you walk in because you’re greeted with a face full of steam and you’re right on top of the hot tub. The smell of Chlorine is so strong that it starts to burn your eyes. The area isn’t monitored much either so if you decide to use it, bring a towel as the rack will most likely be empty. Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed it. However, next time I’m looking for a hotel in St. John’s I’ll spend the little extra to stay at a hotel with a better pool area. I’m usually traveling with little guys so amenities are key for us. This place is great for anyone who doesn’t care to use a pool.
