My partner and i have just returned from a 3 night stay over Easter Bank holiday weekend with our french bulldog skyler. This is a brilliant hotel, lovely and clean, staff were very helpful and very accommodating. breakfast was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. I would definitely return next time we visit southport. Thanks to all the royal clifton staff that made our short break amazing

Due to refurbishment, they were no evening meal and entertainment when we arrived. So we went to the Prince of Wales Hotel and had our evening meal and the entertainment was very good. The room was very nice at the front view the bed was very comfortable at The Clifton Royal

We have stayed in the clifton on numerous occasions. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The room was amazing, the staff were helpful as always. Great location .

Only issue was windows didn't open in room and during the night the heat became unbearable. Could possibly do with small fan in room maybe. Other than that everything was enjoyable.
