Fabulous location, if you need the airport. But, you have to bus/cab/drive into Southend/Rayleigh/wherever if not wanting the airport. 15min walk to various eateries, if you don't want to eat in the hotel, like Toby Carvery, Hungry Horse, African, fish and chips. Majority of staff seen were happy and chatty, nice to see. 5* breakfast, would definitely recommend as had lots of choice. Room was clean, included bed, desk, chair, armchair, safe, kettle, iron, toiletries, bath&shower.

The hotel location is good, nearby the retail park. And around 10mins drive to the seafront. But the hotel room too small compare with the other area outside London. We booked the airport view, but the window also too small. So not really enjoy with the view. The hotel is old, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. Not too many facilities in the hotel. By the way, we are really enjoyed our 訂房網站 in Holiday Inn. If we come to Southend on sea we will come again.

Brillant location for anyone flying into or out of southend airport short 3 minute walk to the terminal also 3 minute walk to train station which takes you into London or into southend town centre. Rooms air conditioned ( heat / cool ) Beds comfortable and nice bedding and two comfortable pillows, rooms are large and double glazed so there is no noise from road or aircraft. Would recommend to anyone who needs a stop over.

The hotel was good. The staff very helpful, polite and welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable. Our s t ay was g great apart from the fact we had to pay £10 to park.

Stayed here couple of nights ago before my morning flight, Must say I was pleasantly surprised because we were greeted upon entry by very friendly and smiley staff. Rooms were very clean, mattress was very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The restaurant was brilliant and again staff were excellent both for dinner and breakfast. May even consider coming back to stay here with family next year! Well done to the staff!

房間真不錯，早餐也很好，估計是定位給中轉紹森德機場的旅客和便宜旅行團的吧。如果是倫敦市裡，估計得1500＋一晚了。從機場火車站出來，五分鐘就走到，門口還一家麥當勞。有需要的旅客，可以選擇，物超所值。
