巴特利旅舍酒店 (Bartley Lodge Hotel)

We had a great stay at this hotel, it is a beautiful hotel and is close by to paultons park which we had booked before booking this hotel. The kids enjoyed their stay however the only downside is there isn’t any air conditioning and no fridge inside the room. We couldn’t buy milk for the kids for night as it would have gone off if they didn’t finish it so they had to wait till we go out to get their milk. Everything else was good, great location and staff was very friendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant, food was well presented and served. The kids are normally fussy with their food but they managed finish most of theirs. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there if we was to go to paultons park again.

The hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.
