staying nights on a ship on a dried up river in the middle of Skopje city was a great experience. Though the room was "compact", it had all the expected amenities & everything worked fine. Having our meals on the deck was very pleasant indeed, especially in the early autumn evenings. And prices were very reasonable, with a 10% discount for hotel guests. Service by all the staff was impeccable! Unfortunately, not everything was perfect. The floorboards just outside our bathroom creaked (& bent) noticeably, possibly due to poor bath water draining that overtime had leaked into the wooden floorboards under the carpet, causing them to deteriorate over time. This needs to be fixed asap. Hotel guests checking in face a long walk from the taxi dropoff location at the bridge about 200m away. This long walk is a challenge for senior travellers with big bags & taxi drivers are unwilling to help due to the risk of getting a ticket. For checking out, hotel staff assistance cannot be committed due to staff shortage.
