I booked a 1‑night stay at OYO Ivy Hotel, 29 Scarbrough Avenue, Skegness, PE25 2TQ, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When we checked in during the day to drop our case off, the room already looked grim. The walls and floors were filthy, there were broken biscuits and dirt on the floor, and the room looked nothing like the photos on 訂房網站. It was advertised as having a shower, but there wasn’t one. After returning from our show later that night, things got even worse. The bed was uneven, the slats underneath were broken, and when we lifted the covers there were loads of live bed bugs and blood stains on the mattress. I’ve never seen anything like this. We had no choice but to leave and drive 2.5 hours back, getting home at 1am. We took photos of everything and sent them to 訂房網站, but they couldn’t get any response from the hotel. 訂房網站 refunded the price of the room, but considering the wasted time, ruined night and long journey home, we feel we should have received more. We’ve sent photos to 訂房網站 so hopefully they will get the hotel to address the problems we had to deal with. It’s totally put us off going to B&Bs or hotels now. We’ll always check reviews before booking — we didn’t this time, and after reading them afterwards, I wish we had. We wouldn’t have booked at all. Avoid this hotel.

First and last time bed broke and on the floor no wardrobe One chair badley stained very noisy no sleep asked to me moved due to broken bed and no shower or mirror in the room told sorry fully booked but I checked and I could of booked another 3 rooms lie avoid

Very disappointing, the room had a musty smell, very poor decor and stained carpet, absolutely no storage / hanging space. This place needs a total refurb.
