I found our stay at Combermere very comfortable. The staff and management was very courteous. The room was very tidy and clean. Washroom was also clean and well maintained with proper arrangements for hot water etc. location of the hotel is it's one of the highlights as it's exactly in the centre of mall road and so all the major sights in shimla are easily accessible. We had ordered in room dining and food is good but found it a bit costly. The views , breakfast staff and accessibility to mall road was key highlights

Stay was very comfortable. Staff was courteous and polite.. housekeeping staff was very efficient. All restaurants were very good and served good menus. Buffet breakfast was also very good.

Had a little trouble with unloading our luggage as there was no one from the hotel's end to receive it and no designated area to park our vehicle made it a little more difficult, after contacting mmt about the same the issue was well taken care of overall our experience was good with the hotel and it's services

Please don’t book this hotel . I was getting Taj Theog at this rate, but my bad luck booked this. They charged for baby food also, 1 small cup of milk for kid is Rs 200. They charged extra bills, added 1000rs bill at there own and even that bill was having signature of some other person and was forcing me to pay. Reception staff will not even help you with luggage. They will say take ur luggage on your own. They treat u like king when u check in and treat like beggars when u check out. They tried to kill my kid with the car of new guest arriving at parking and then didn’t even say sorry and abused us and was standing there and saw car hitting my 2 year old kid and was laughing. Especially three people on reception mainly bald one with tika . Never recommend this property with kids and old age people. Worst thing is they do body massage and spa of male people from female which is very scary and embarrassing. Also while doing check out they just sent there person in room to vacant the room asap without even knowing luggage is packed or not and forced my old parents and kid to come immediately on reception without even thinking they can’t move fast. I think owner should intervene here and replace there reception staff. because I can see older similar comments.

very good hotel, especially the connectivity to mall road makes it very convienent to stay, we loved the live music every evening the singer is so good the best in the world, spa facilities and games zone are very good, restaurants are great with friendly staff overall very happy
