An absolute Gem! This is a special place in the world. I came to Sembalun unknown what to expect. I was greeted by a beautiful host and a lovely sized room. A restaurant With a spectacular view and lovely food located just across the road and Indo-Markets 1km away in either direction. Give it a Shot.

The reviews provided by other guests are not representative of the Villa. Trip should do a check on the reviews. No doubt the view is stunning but the cleanliness & state of the room wasn’t worth the money we paid IDR2,301,400 for 2 nights. We booked the family room because I knew the room was smallish. The biggest shock was there was no sink in the bathroom! We told the owner & he agreed & will install in the future. The saving grace was that the water pressure was strong & the water was hot. He was nice enough to offer us his scooter to roam around which was kind of him. Their breakfast tasted good thankfully - it was fried rice with fried egg & cucumber & the coffee was arabica!

It's in a super convenient spot with tons of food nearby and an awesome view. It's only a 5 minute drive from most tourist spots, the rooms are clean, and the toilets have hot showers, though they're a bit smelly. The room is well insulated for a comfy stay.
