We were a party of four (three elderly men and a grandson) having booked three different rooms via 訂房網站.com - upon trying to check-in, the owner, an Arab man, refused to allow us to check in. When we showed the confirmation details from 訂房網站, the owner insisted that he does not deal with 訂房網站, he only takes bookings from Traveloka. At the time all four of us did not have mobile data for internet access and could not activate the 訂房網站 support button. The owner raised his voice and asked us to leave. Having no proof (we did not video-record the encounter as we were three elderly men in a foreign land and we feared for our own safety) we had no choice but to leave and find alternative accommodation. Since we have no physical proof of denial of check-in and the denied business comments made against 訂房網站.com, we could not ask 訂房網站.com for a refund. The amount is quite small anyway. We hope that 訂房網站 does not pay this disgusting owner a single cent. We are posting about this poor/sad/hazardous encounter because travelers with children will be very vulnerable when turned away. Don't go to this place. If you are refused check-in you have no recourse, and very likely no place to stay, especially if it is peak travel season. Not to mention your money is gone, however small it may be. Our three bookings end with 3846957, 9955963, and 3846978. Caveat Emptor, or beware such inhospitable owners who treat elderly travelers worse than dirt.
