Newly renovated room, clean and comfortable with good Wi-Fi and a decent bathroom. Bed was fine and having a bar and restaurant downstairs was really handy. Plenty of free parking too. Just be prepared for a long drive in on very narrow roads — once you’re there, though, it’s a solid spot.

After climbing the scafell pike, we went straight to this hotel. The staffs were really kind especially to the old man. You can really see the passion in his work . The hotel was amazing because it’s clean and well maintained. They also have a restaurant so you don’t have to go outside to look for a food which is really inconvenient idea for those who are tired from climbing. I guess we tried to book for an uber eats, deliveroo etc but they don’t have it in that area. The food was great and they have a free breakfast as well.
