nice hotel good water onsen (natural spring water) nice environment far from the station need reservations for the breakfast because they forgot to tell me when i checked in so had no breakfast and hotel resto open at 11:30 close at 14:30 start again at 17:00~ far from everything need car or take the bus 40 min from/to satsumasendai station for shinkansen 1h35 min from/to hakata station interesting to do around : samurai museum sealing boats went to koshiki shima . by boat, very nice island 1:45 min from the port to the island. many stay hostel or rooms to rent fantastic food if you like fish or row fish small hareng grillé or fried is the speciality pretty villages very nice people too english speaking tour …ok natural falls. and ponds around the coast please check it out it was fantastic rent need car tuk tuk or bicycle to go around the islands or take the tour bus many activities like making oil from Camélia seed ( tsubaki oil ) etc…..! check it out
