聖西蒙小屋 (San Simeon Lodge)

To be very honest, the room was disgustingly dirty. If you walked barefoot, wet your feet, and put your feet on a white towel, it would leave dark black foot Prints. The rooms are incredibly dark and dimly lit. The intention must be to not notice the filth so much. All chairs are destroyed. The pictures are just not accurate one bit. The showers have no lights, and a curtain is used that covers floor to ceiling, so you shower in pitch black darkness. There’s also no ledge to place soap. Very odd setup. Bed sheets had stains and women’s hair throughout. For rooms charging around $200 a night, you really expect much more for a motel. It’s pretty nuts. The room door had a large, inch size gap for any sort of bug, and ocean breeze to make its way inside. Thankfully there were no cockroaches, although being next to the restaurant. Convenient location and having a convenience store on property, and bar, is sorta of, convenient. Warning, the bar plays very loud music well into 2am. I really would not recommend. It’s just so dirty.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was not clean, and the bed had hair on it, which was unacceptable. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The staff were also unfriendly and not helpful, making the stay even less pleasant. Overall, the service was poor, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay.
