Location…GREAT! Customer service…OK Room accommodations…POOR👎 Cleanliness…0/10 🤢 Super close to the breach (2 min walk), kind staff…BUT…towels were stained and filthy, room furniture was damaged, beds were uncomfortable, bathroom was SUSPICIOUS, the room smelled of wet dog, and the sheets left us itching all night. Checked out a day early and never looked back.

If you are a pet owner this is an exceptional property and even otherwise it's a hidden gem. Surprisingly low vagrant activity on the property and the outside lighting is fair. Probably why the management can be nosey and pushy. You get a used car salesman feel at the front desk but, the stay is worth it, if they don't become passive aggressive with you. It does have that California 'control everything' type nuances....Rooms are clean, you won't be afraid to get into the beds or use the furniture. Small accommodating pool and staff doesn't make you uncomfortable using it. Cool location overlooking dog beach in OB, if you are lucky enough to get the ocean facing side. I do recommend this property.
