The location of hotel is so good btw. Tapi susah mau parking bagi kereta besar. Kerja renovation skg berjalan, jadi kami faham susah mau bergerak. Air tandas agak keruh. Sepatutnya kadar harga sesuai dengan harga tgh renovasi.

Lovely stay at The Ormond. Nicely decorated large rooms with great views, beautiful communal areas, helpful staff, decent breakfast and good location near to restaurants. But the thing that makes this place so amazing is the pool and views, fabulous! It felt really special to relax by the beautiful pool. Highly recommend staying here.

We were initially a little worried about booking this hotel as it had no reviews and wasn’t even open! However, we definitely made the right decision. The hotel is brand new. It was very clean and had all the luxuries of a 5* hotel. The pool area is beautiful - the photos don’t do it justice at all and it has stunning views over the harbour. The staff are clearly still learning how everything works but super friendly and happy to do anything they can to make your stay more enjoyable. Clearly the nicest hotel in Sandakan.
