I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Manchester – Salford Quays. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in was quick and smooth. One of the highlights was the location – it offered easy access to football games at Old Trafford, which was just a short walk away, as well as convenient public transport connections to the city centre and beyond. A solid and stress-free choice for anyone visiting Manchester, especially for football fans. I’d happily stay here again.

The hotel location is quiet and a couple of hundred yards from the tram. It is the other side of the quay from Media City that offers a large variety of restaurants. The hotel was clean and tidy albeit basic. The bed was comfortable but the pillows needed replacing. The hotel breakfast was fine and good value.

Knew they was a concert on nearby and that the hotel would be close to fully booked yet only two members of staff to work the front desk and bar. And one of those members were in the kitchen making pizzas. I felt so sorry for the staff who were trying to do there best, even they admitted that the staff isue was disgusting when managament knew the hotel would be busy. Over half an hour to check in, impossible to get a drink from the bar, the queue was ridiculous as the staff had to keep swapping between checking people into the hotel and managing the bar. The room was dirty, the amount of dust was appalling and the carpet looked patterned with the amount of stains on it. Never would I stay in a holiday inn again.
