I was really lucky. When all the flights were cancelled due to a strike in Belgium, I was able to stay in a place that felt just like home. It was like the old houses I had read about in fairy tales. As soon as I stepped inside, I was amazed. The layout was really unique. I had to climb two flights of stairs to reach my room, and it truly felt like I was on my way to a princess's room in a fairyland. When I got to the door of my room, I never expected it to be a tall double door. I felt as if I was entering a palace. The room was spacious, and it had a fireplace that I had always dreamed of. The door lock used an old-fashioned key, just like the kind that many people wear as a decoration around their necks. For someone like me who is used to living in reinforced concrete buildings and taking the elevator every day, this experience was truly like a fairy tale. Although this place wasn't perfect, perhaps the old houses in fairy tales are all like this, aren't they? The experience here was really special.

DO NOT BOOK — SEVERE FALSE ADVERTISING, NOISE, SAFETY & HEALTH ISSUES
This place should not be marketed as a hotel, guest house, or BnB.
We booked based on the listing and photos on 訂房網站, which are deeply misleading and do not reflect the current state of the property. The room was advertised as having 1 futon bed, which was the main reason we booked. There was no futon at all, only a standard, very uncomfortable, smelly bed. That alone is false advertising.
The building is extremely old, poorly maintained, and neglected. There is absolutely NO soundproofing. Noise travels freely from above, below, and all sides — every step, door, cough, snore, TV, and music is clearly audible. Rest is very impossible.
The floorboards on every level are falling apart and produce constant, extremely loud creaking, to the point it genuinely feels like you could fall through the floor. The entire structure feels unstable and unsafe, with every movement echoing throughout the building.
There is NO LIFT, which is not disclosed anywhere in the listing. The staircases are narrow, steep, unstable, and dangerous. I suffer from severe spinal issues and had to drag heavy suitcases up these stairs, which was painful and unsafe. There is no wheelchair access and no accessibility information provided, a serious and unacceptable omission.
The room, kitchen and bathroom had a strong mouldy smell, with clear signs of poor hygiene, ventilation, and long-term neglect. My wife has pre-existing health issues, and the mouldy air caused breathing difficulties. A property advertising itself as 3-star should never have mouldy rooms or bathrooms.
This property has shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen, both of which were absolutely disgusting.
The shared bathrooms were broken, stained, poorly cleaned, and clearly not maintained. They felt unsanitary, unsafe, and completely inappropriate for paying guests.
The shared kitchen was also falling apart:
– Sink tap not working properly
– Broken cabinets with duck tape
– Pots and pans dirty and greasy
– Cutlery dirty and insufficient
There are around 6 rooms, meaning up to 12 guests, so there should be enough dining ware to support! There was only one mug, a few dirty cutlery items, and filthy pots and pans. It felt like no effort whatsoever was made to equip or maintain the space for guests.
Everything feels broken, worn down, stained, and neglected. It is painfully obvious that not a single euro has been reinvested back into this property. Even basic items like mugs, glasses, or cookware have not been replaced and don't cost a lot, like seriously, stop being cheap!!

This property appears to ignore basic health, safety, hygiene, and accessibility standards, and is wildly overpriced for what you get. Had these issues been disclosed, we would never have booked.

1) The contact person / owner is good. His reply is fast when we asked him some questions by WhatsApp.
2) The location is not bad. Around 8 min walk to metro station and 2-3 stops to the town. And there are stores and supermarket neaby.
3) The open kitchen is perfect. It is big with enough facilities for you to cook.
4) The house is clean.
5) The owner allow us to store our luggage in kitchen after we come back overnight from other city.

1) We live in 3rd floor of the house without lift. We need to take the heavy luggages to the room by the narrow stairs. Although we can put in the kitchen, it is not convenient.
2) The room is little bit stuffy but the fan is too noisy. It is not enough to open the window .
