艾伯特之家- 聖奧爾本斯Viridian公寓 (Viridian Apartments in St Albans Serviced Apartments - Abbott House)

We stayed here for three nights in August and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a so-called 'serviced' apartment. From the moment we arrived, nothing worked as promised. The shower was broken and never repaired, despite being reported on day one. The flat was stifling hot with no ventilation, and although we repeatedly asked for a fan, one was only delivered on our last day, far too late to help. The kitchen was filthy, with dirty pots and pans, bins already full of rubbish, damaged equipment, and a major infestation of insects. We also paid for parking, yet our space was taken for the entire time, and management offered no solution other than leaving us to deal with angry residents. Check-in was chaotic and delayed, as we were given the wrong instructions and had to make expensive international calls to sort it out. We contacted management by phone and email numerous times, but most issues were ignored until the very end, and even then nothing was properly resolved. To top it off, management’s eventual response was dismissive, defensive, and unapologetic, not even a basic “sorry.” This is not a serviced apartment, it’s an overpriced, poorly maintained flat with shameful customer service. Our holiday was ruined by stress, wasted time, and chasing after basic standards that were never met. Avoid Viridian Apartments at all costs.

Very lovely apartment, clean and cosy. Accessing the flat on the first day was like a treasure hunt 😄. Nice location too. Heating can be improved.

The location is quite convenient, walking distance to the city center and train station.
