昆瓦旅館 (Kunwar Residency)

Very nice location, exceptional view, Adjacent to Laxman Jhula. Walking distance from the Ganga Aarti location. Access to Ganga Maiyya from the side of the hotel, very near at a walking distance. We could sit at the Banks of Ganga and could enjoy the lovely view and cold water of the river.

It’s one of the best locations in the area. The staff is polite and professional. Absolute value for money!

Excellent view, situated next to Lakshman Jhula (which is currently under repairs). Large, clean rooms. Very polite and courteous staff. Rajesh, the Manager, was very kind to upgrade us to a higher room category upon availability. Summit of Housekeeping was always available for even the smallest of needs. Wifi though present , was not powerful enough. They have a kitchen which serves food in the room.

The location of the hotel is extremely beautiful and the food given by the hotel was really good. There is so much to explore in its location: the market, cafes, small restaurants, kulhadd wali Chai...everything was very good. The staff of the hotel was very cordial and helpful. Planning to visit this place again and try to book this hotel once more. 🫠🤗😎☕️

Location: next to laxman jhula (which is not operational) and right across the river from trimbakeshwar temple. The temple is well lit which is a beautiful sight at night from all rooms. How to reach: you can easily get a sharing auto from all major spots like nepali farm, ram jhula, triveni ghat etc. Which will drop you on main road. If you have heavy luggage, take a personal auto/scooty and go further down the main road. This route is longer but accessible by vehicles. If you have light luggage, take the market road. Market road has stairs but is a shorter route (5-7 mins walk, full of cafes and shops. From the hotel's main gate if you go right, you'll reach sai ghat in 3-4 mins. If you go left t you'll reach laxman jhula market which ultimately leads to the main road. Room: i booked a standard room. It wasn't fancy but just sufficient for 2 people with minimal luggage. View was breathtaking. I saw their other rooms too and they were even more gorgeous! food: the in-house restaurant food was good. We tried egg fried rice, sandwich, paratha, chai in room service, didn't visit the restaurant. Quantities can be a lot so check before ordering. Other services: they offer spa services in hotel ishan which is adjacent to kunwar residency (both hotels are a part of salvus. They also helped us book a rafting service which asked for 620 per person for 12km stretch and settled for 450 per person. But the experience wasn't great, so wouldn't recommend. Staff: we were attended by tarun who was a very pleasant, friendly and helpful person. He offered to keep our luggage in hotel premises after we checked out as our return bus was at midnight. He also arranged to drop us at main road auto stand at night which was pretty helpful.

The location was awesome and views from the room was so relaxing. The staff was so supportive and helpful. Highly recommended.

5. Driver was driving rashly, over speeding, sudden breaking and he even did an accident and then ran away driving rashly through traffic. He also charged extra money saying it was MCD charges. He did not even show how much extra kilometres were there. We were afraid for our lives!

I stayed here with my mother and kids. Perfect location to relax and refresh. Good service provided by staff. Food was also good.
