酒店外觀、大堂都很好，但進入房間的通道很殘舊。 而房間亦感覺不安全，因為防盜門鎖是反轉了安裝，即是等於沒有防盜設施。廁所亦沒有清潔過，很汙糟不衛生。

To be honest, the room was extremely hot as the air conditioning was not working. When I reported this to the front desk, I was advised to leave the window open and was told that someone would bring a fan. Additionally, the accommodation did not provide any basic amenities, and I was given a disability room that I did not request. We had to call three times before anything was addressed.

Awful. I'd barely started saying 'Hi, I've' before I was interrupted by 'last name'. We arrived with 2 x 23kg suitcases and various bits of hand luggage and were given a 2nd floor room with no lift. When we had dragged all this down a corridor with a stained and dirty carpet to the staircase, we went back to reception. We explained we had just got off an 11 hour flight with lots of luggage, which had been obvious on check in, just to be told we could have a ground floor room if we liked (why not just offer this in the first place). Back down the stained dirty carpet to a dingy room with a connecting door so thin we could hear the people next door as if they were in the same room. Back to reception for the 3rd time down the dirty corridor with all our luggage to tell reception we were cutting our losses and would be leaving. This was met with apologies and, to our amazement, a puzzled 'oh is it' when we told them we'd been put in a noisy connecting room at the 2nd attempt and they could put us in a different room. We'd had enough by then and just left. Why on earth they put us through all this when they could see how much luggage we had and had explained our situation is beyond me especially as they seemed to have plenty of different and more suitable room options. Don't waste your money here.

The hotel is well located just off the M4 with plenty of parking. Check-in was efficient and the staff were friendly throughout. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet for a motorway location. Breakfast offered a good variety and service was attentive. A dependable choice for a short stay or stopover in Reading.
