阿魯巴酒店 (Hotel Aruba)

Worst hotel ever, not even 1 star. Unhelpful/ rude manager, poor rooms, exceptionally poor breakfast. The only positive is the free car park

Our stay at Aruba Hotel was extremely disappointing. We booked 2 rooms for 6 adults, but what we received was unacceptable. One room was a standard double, and the second was shocking—an extremely cramped space where a double bed had two single beds squeezed into what felt like a cupboard, with no AC, no fan, and no airflow. It was like a sauna and not suitable for humans to sleep in. Two of our group ended up sleeping in the car. The air conditioning in general did not work properly, the rooms were unbearably hot, the beds were very uncomfortable, and only one thin pillow was provided per person. When we raised this with the front desk, they admitted the room was not suitable and called the manager. Unfortunately, the manager refused to resolve the issue and only offered to cancel our booking, knowing full well that we had arrived at midnight after driving over 10 hours, with no realistic option to find alternatives. This “take it or leave it” attitude was incredibly unhelpful. Breakfast was exceptionally poor with almost no variety. To make matters worse, the hotel’s location is misleading, it advertises being 20 minutes from Kotor, but due to roadworks it actually took us 1 hour and 40 minutes each way. The hotel should have informed guests of this in advance. There is no lift, so carrying luggage up three floors was very difficult, especially for anyone with sore knees or back problems. The only positive was the free car park, but everything else was negative. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, and I would not recommend Aruba Hotel to anyone.
