recently stayed at the Best Western Poway/San Diego Hotel and had a comfortable experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated about 20 minutes north of Downtown San Diego and the San Diego International Airport, making it easily accessible to various attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met promptly. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles with toppings, yogurt, cereals, and breads, providing a good start to the day. While the hotel is a bit dated and could benefit from some updates, the overall experience was positive. The outdoor pool and sun deck provided a relaxing environment to unwind. Additionally, the free parking was a convenient perk. Overall, I would recommend the Best Western Poway/San Diego Hotel for travelers seeking a comfortable and affordable stay in the Poway area.

The hotel is in need of major updates. The room appeared to be clean but had a bad odor; the bathtub in Room 128 has visible rust; and the hairdryer did not work. There was no phone in the room either. And there was no 'Do not disturb' door hanger.

WiFi was slow and receptionist were unhelpful. Would not be staying there again. The Ramada half a mile away is much better.
