Good hotel and spacious room, the only thing is that it’s far away from Portsmouth city centre so had to take an Uber everywhere. Paid £10 for parking for 2 days not bad but could be included in the price.
Hotel is great the the staff service was poor for such a brand. We asked for assistance/serrvice 2-3 times. Each time the reception recorded the requested but never acted on it. They could do better!

We recently stayed at the Marriott Hotel Portsmouth. While the rooms were spacious and comfortable, what followed left a very bitter aftertaste.
During our stay, some of our baby’s utensils were stolen from the room, items we had brought especially for our infant. We reported this to the hotel three separate times. Not once did anyone follow up. No updates, no acknowledgment, nothing.
Finally, during checkout, we reminded them again, only to be told they would take our details and get back to us. Unsurprisingly, we never heard back.
What’s most disappointing isn’t the stolen items—though that in itself is unacceptable, but the complete lack of courtesy, empathy, or responsibility shown by the staff. For a hotel carrying the Marriott name, this was a serious letdown.
