The rooms are probably better suited to couples. There is no door separating the shower, but there is a divider to separate the area from the beds. At least there is a door to the toilet. The hotel is clean, and walking distance to restaurants.

Good: Affordable relative to other hotels, nice/spacious room, complimentary water and coffee during select times of day, nice lounge with games and pool table to hang out at night, room and lobby were clean upon arrival. Not so good: Front desk staff had a mix of friendly and not-as-friendly people - the guy at the night shift was not very welcoming when I checked in. The hallway in the 6th floor smelled strongly of carpet shampoo; it was unpleasant to walk through. Bedsheets were a bit rough (low thread count I presume).

It's ok to spend a few nights in this hotel due to its location. Stylish interior. Friendly and helpful staff - the lady even allowed me to check-in at 11 am instead of 4 pm. A decent gym is located inside as well.

Close to amenities, modern and clean. The only thing you should be aware of is that there is no free parking. There is only a valet service available for $35 for 24 hours. Any parking on the street has a maximum time limit of 2 hours and comes at a cost as well.

“一線”海景，舒適，乾淨。停車小哥還主動告知週末可以street parking不收費。樓下娛樂施捨眾多，晚上玩得很開心。

It’s great- the room is clean, shower is functional, basic amenities are there. Some lounge neighbors but that’s unavoidable. Most importantly the bed is comfy, staff has been very nice and helpful. I’d go back there in the future!

The Aloft is one of the best hotels in Portland! It’s always reasonably priced for such a modern and clean location. The staff is super friendly. We had a room with a window overlooking parts of Commercial Street and the adjacent hotels. It was relaxing to watch the snow come down from our room. They also have a great lobby and bar to hang out at. If I had to nitpick, I would have loved to see the football games on the big TV by the bar instead of a screen saver running all day. We would have stayed there to watch the Pats game. However, the TV that has the XBOX was able to stream the games from YouTube TV, which is a plus, but another family was utilizing that.
