初めてのポートランドで手頃な宿泊費のホテルを探していて、予約しました。ホテルの立地は歩いて20分くらいで、街中に行ける便利な場所でありながら、ホテルの周りは靜かで騒音もなく、安心して泊まれました。PDXや街なかまで行くトラムの駅も近くにあり、とても便利な場所です。部屋の中も清潔で、シャンプーなどのアメニティがアロマの香りで、ポートランドらしさを感じました。スタッフの方も話しやすかったです。またポートランドに行ったら、ここに泊まりたいくらい、おすすめです！

The historic hotel is located in the middle of everything that you want to do as a tourist. Close to the waterfront if you want to hop on a sunset dinner cruise. Public transportation is just down the street. You can take the light rail to and from the airport just couple of short blocks away. You don't need a car, because all parking in the area is metered and you have to pay for the hotel garage parking. The service on the other hand is not so good. The suite did not have a coffee maker and microwave. We had to ask for them. The sink was clogged and it took awhile for them to send someone. That person unclogged the drain but did not cleanup afterward. The hair and debris you can see on the sink, on the floor, and noticeably on some of the towels hanging on the wall. Clusters of hair were left in the bathroom waste basket. Very unsightly and unsanitary. Asked and promised for a cleanup at around noon, but it never showed. It is always "will come up in a minute". Finally had to asked for disposable gloves and cleaned it myself cause it was getting late at night and we wanted to rest. Sent an email to the manager. Never respond. In total, the hotel itself is close to 4, but the service is a 1.

We enjoyed the elegant look of the hotel. The staff was welcoming. We had a great breakfast at Gracie’s. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
