i had to experience sofitel one last time before it closes on 30 june. the place got really old but the nice ambience was quite the same. i just felt bad for the workers who complained that they will not get their benefits as promised by management in the news, it was a bittersweet moment but the food in their restaurants were the best i've ever had in manila, thank you sofitel and farewell.

Sofitel is Sofitel. Whats there to write. A bit old but has its unique charm. Its a 50 year old hotel but still 5 star experience. The security is a bit annoying having to chack your bags and cross the xray all the time but I guess thats SOP. Spiral Buffet was a bit overwhelming and pricey but you get what you pay for. Over all experience was still amazing.

The hotel is very nice and luxurious but there is not much around it. Also there was a construction site just in front of the hotel, which could be seen from the swimming pool and the rooms, which was really strange when you are looking for a relaxing time. It felt like something out of a sci fi movie, the idyllic pool with some face vegetations covering the outside walls that lead to a massive construction site. The room decoration is a little tired and old fashioned and the shower didn’t work very well, still very comfortable though. The lobby, restaurants, swimming pool and general common facilities are top notch! Staff is amazing and breakfast has the biggest selection I’ve ever seen in my life. Overall is worth paying a visit! I heard the hotel will be closing in July though, which is a shame, especially because it has so many amazing employees that will potentially loose their jobs.

Sehr schönes Hotel, gelegen in der Manila Bucht. Man merkt den Hotel jedoch an, dass es bereits in die Jahre gekommen ist. Dennoch ist es schade, dass es Ende Juli 2024 geschlossen wird. Das Restaurant Spiral wartet mit mit einer Vielzahl internationaler Spezialitäten auf. Wenn sie noch die Gelegenheit haben, sollten sie es unbedingt probieren.

Me and my family recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the city. The hotel amenities were top-notch, including a great bar and pool area. The location was also perfect, with easy access to restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful dining experience at the Spiral restaurant. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, and the service was impeccable. ウェルカムドリンクがスパイシーで美味しかったです。スタッフに聞いたらマンゴー、アップル、ジンジャーとあと何か忘れましたが入っているとの事でした。接客も明るくフレンドリーで良かったです。ホテルはオバマ大統領も以前宿泊したとタクシーのおじさんが言ってただけあり広いです。朝食のメニューがいろんな國のがあり豊富でした。7イレブンが3分位のところにあります。

Great location and facilities. Reception and concierge needs to be proactive. There were 4-5 bellboys standing outside when we arrived but I still needed to ASK for help for our bags, not really a good impression for a hotel in Sofitel caliber. Check in took quite loooong

歴史あるホテルロビーからフィリピンに來て良かったと思いました。部屋はとても広くて過ごしやすく、ホテルマンたちもとても感じが良くサービスも最高でした。部屋など少し古い所がありました。それでも他のなど高級ホテルには負けないサービスがsofitel manilaにはありました。 🏊♂️プール、食事も良く、また今度フィリピンに來た際はsofitel manilaを利用したいなと思います。

The hotel was amazing, the perfect place for my birthday getaway. The restaurants had great food choices and the pool was perfect. However the lifts are so slow, I waited 10 minutes atleast every time, the staff are friendly but the reception staff again are so slow.

Great service of this hotel and the spiral restaurant is awesome the breakfast is also good if you like a dinner in spiral you might need to call in advance. Great for family staycation the pool is very good as well
