Excellent hotel in an amazing location right on the edge of the Seine with good restaurants and interesting shops all around. Ideal for a weekend break.

The location is why people stay here - in the neighborhood called 'the beating heart of Paris' featuring walkable streets at all hours, neighborhood cheese merchants, butchers and boulangeries and small quirky shops with unique goods. The hotel rooms are very small, with little storage space. Shower/Bathtub was very narrow and not easy for an older person to get in and out of. Breakfast buffet is adequate and service was prompt and friendly, but not a very good value for the money (28 euro). Front desk assistance varied; one gentleman was very knowledgeable about transportation and ready to help plan an excursion, while a lady there the next day did not seem to know much about the French rail system and suggested that we consult the Internet.

Worst hotel experience in Paris – ruined our entire 訂房網站 I’ve traveled extensively across Europe, the Middle East, and the US, and Hôtel des Deux-Îles was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The photos online are extremely misleading — our room felt like a tiny cage with barely enough space to move. Noise was constant from above, the neighboring room, and the street outside, making it impossible to rest. Breakfast was a nightmare. The waiter was openly rude, throwing things at our table and ignoring requests, and the room was swarming with fruit flies and other bugs. I asked for a refund for breakfast, hoping for some compensation for this terrible experience, but the manager refused. Considering we spent almost €5,000 on this 訂房網站, this hotel ruined what was supposed to be a special vacation. The hair dryer barely worked, the area outside felt unsafe — we were even confronted and attacked by a man near the bridge — and the room itself was cramped and uncomfortable. The only bright spot was the front desk staff, especially Alex, Alexi, and Merrianne, who were polite and helpful, but their efforts couldn’t make up for the disaster of this stay. Do yourself a favor: avoid this hotel. It is misrepresented online, uncomfortable, unsanitary, and potentially unsafe.
