Extremely filthy hotel. Dirty linen, nasty stains on bedding, no housekeeping (I was literally told they don't have housekeepers and no security), very foul odors, water stains on the ceiling in room, really sketchy looking people hanging around making the place feel very unsafe, broken bathroom sink faucet, dirty carpet in room. The refrigerator barely worked. The room had really cheap and uncomfortable furniture, including the bed. The bed is literally a flat mattress on a spring platform. I could go on an on, but I'll just say this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. This Red Roof hotel in Opelika, Alabama is a run down joke. It needs a lot of renovation and cleaning, and additional staff. I won't stay there again, unless there is just nothing else available in town. I did not enjoy this experience at all.
