Absolutely Dreadful Stay - Avoid at All Costs! My recent stay at Venus Holiday Home was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I entered my room, it was clear that cleanliness and basic maintenance were not a priority for this establishment. The bathroom was frankly disgusting. I was immediately greeted by the unsettling sight of cockroaches scuttling across the floor and even ***** the walls. This made the simple act of using the facilities an exercise in discomfort and hygiene concerns. Moving to the sleeping area, the disappointment continued. The cupboard emitted a musty odor, and upon closer inspection, I was horrified to find visible fungus growing inside. This rendered the storage space unusable and raised serious questions about the overall air quality of the room. As if the pest and mold issues weren't enough, the window was broken, failing to close properly. This not only posed a security risk but also allowed outside noise and drafts to permeate the room, making it difficult to sleep. The combination of these issues – cockroaches, fungus, and a broken window – made for an utterly unacceptable and frankly, unhygienic stay. I spent the night feeling uneasy and far from rested. I strongly advise anyone considering booking a room at Venus Holiday Home to look elsewhere. This hotel is in dire need of thorough cleaning, pest control, and significant repairs. My experience was deeply disappointing, and I would never consider staying here again. I hope this review serves as a warning to others.

Drinking water was not available. Hot water facility was not provided. Rooms were very tiny. Only good thing was the washrooms were clean and tidy

The place was good, right in the centre, easily accessible and budget friendly. But they have to focus on the cleanliness of the room and bed sheets. Though it is a hill station in summer time it is hot. so they should have an option for fan.

So many cockroaches in the room. Raised ticket with MakeMyTrip to refund amount for 1 room out of 4. No response neither from MakeMyTrip nor the hotel management. Suffered allot with family. Went through terrible experience. Never book again in MakeMyTrip.

Staff co-operative, Rooms were clean, Hot water facility available, location well connected. Overall good experience..

Overall experience was good, host Bhoominathan took care very well. Only issue was we don’t had option to choose the room but overall a good experience.

Its a stay within city limits of ooty. Average I would say something similar to a budget lodge. Parking is a bit problematic as it's a busy road and vehicles have to be parked on the sides of the road itself. Bathrooms need little more maintenance. We had a toilet commode water blockage in second day and had to use our other room. Overall it's 50-50 experience.

We stayed at Venus for 4 nights.The location of the Hotel was easily accessible.The reception boys were very cordial.They have allocated the best room.But after sometime they have requested me to shift to a different room.They showed 4 different rooms and I was comfortable to shift to another room. The property was easily accessible..Rooms were neat. Bathroom was also good.Hot water available at all times.No restaurant available.Staff were very cordial
