We stayed at the Mercure in Offenburg and overall had a good experience. The free city bus was really helpful for getting around, but it’s worth noting the hotel is not near the train station and feels a bit in the middle of nowhere. The hotel itself was very clean and well-kept. We tried the restaurant – the food was quite basic and very expensive, but since we were hungry it did the trick! A big bonus was the pool and sauna. After a long day at Rulantica, the kids still had the energy to swim, which was a lovely way to finish the day.

Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Service. Das Frühstück am Buffet ist super. Die Ausstattung wie auch die Sauberkeit ist dürftig.

Terribile esperienza. Arriviamo tardi e siamo accolti alla reception che fortunatamente era presidiata da una persona. Dopo aver svolto, velocemente, il check-in iniziano i vari problemi e disagi che ci accompagnano fino al checkout del giorno dopo.  1 l’ascensore non funziona, gentilmente l’addetto ci accompagna ad un ascensore di servizio così da non farci fare le scale coi bagagli 2 le stanze sono fredde e non autonome nel riscaldamento 3 la stanza è sporca, macchie sul muro del bagno e sotto letto sporco, moquette polverosa 4 il corridoio ha una moquette polverosa e sporca 5 al risveglio, ore 6:30, no acqua calda, ne nella mia stanza (331) ne in quelle adiacenti e presuppongo della struttura. No acqua calda fino alle 8, ora del checkout 6 colazione carente e con poca scelta 7 una delle due macchinette del caffè non funzionava.  Ho sinceramente provato pena e dispiacere per il personale dell’albergo per dover lavorare in condizioni così scadenti.  Mi dispiace ma non posso consigliare questo posto.
